Britney Spears confuses fans by posting same Instagram image three times in a row

Britney Spears fans have quizzed if the pop sensation – who is under a conservatorship order – is in need of help after she posted the same pH๏τo of herself three times in a row

Britney Spears has sparked concern among her fans after she uploaded the same snap three times in a row.

The American musician, 41, took to her Instagram page on Tuesday evening to share a selfie of herself which she then re-uploaded twice more – and has left all three of the identical offerings up on her grid.

She also captioned the pH๏τos with the same message, which read: “rose” alongside a rose flower emoji.

Pop sensation Britney can be seen looking into the camera lens in the snap with her blonde locks styled in a half-updo and decorated with a crown of pink roses.

When the first post went live, fans took to the comments to praise the mother-of-two but when the image was shared again and again they took to the comments to share their worries.

“Again?” one quizzed.

A second and third added: “Brit we love you—- we hope you’re okay” and “Britney… are you good???”

When the third post went up, her followers discussed that they were becoming more and more uneasy over the posts.

A social media user speculated: “3 in a row SOS” and another added: “I’m concerned.”

One fan wanting the star to speak out added: “WHAT DOES IT MEAN????”

For years, members of the #FreeBritney movement have been convinced Britney is sending secret messages through her social media.

The movement began as fans have been urging for the pop star to be removed from the conservatorship she is under.

The conservatorship was imposed on the pop star 12 years ago following her highly-publicised breakdown. Her father, Jamie Spears, is in charge of her due to the order.

The orders are usually put in place to protect the elderly or infirm, or those with diminished mental capacity.

Since documentary Framing Britney Spears – made by The New York Times- was released the #FreeBritney movement has grown and followers have been openly debating whether she should be allowed to take charge of her life once again.

Many fans who support the movement have been convinced Britney is not able to speak freely – and has been trying to send secret signals to her supporters through social media including her wearing special colours and posting special messages such as images of Dove birds.

Britney has spoken out about the movement, telling her supporters about her “unique” situation and insisting she does stand up for what she wants.

In a candid post on Instagram, she wrote: “There’s rumours, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said.

“I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear.

“My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment

“You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want!”
