Katy Perry is a singer, songwriter, actor, and businesswoman from the United States of America. Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson was born on 25 October 1984 in Santa Barbara, California, United States. She is the daughter of preachers Mary Perry and Keith Hudson. Angela Hudson is Perry’s sister, and David Hudson, Perry’s younger brother, is also a singer. She attended Goleta’s Dos Pueblos High School.
Perry and comedian Russell Brand began dating in 2009 and married on 23 October 2010. They divorced on July 16, 2012, after divorce on December 31, 2011.
