Astrid Wett was putting the Elle Brooke drama behind her as she posed by the pool at her resort in Ayia Napa on the island of Cyprus, revealing that it was already 28 degrees before 10am local time
OnlyFans star Astrid Wett has swapped boxing gloves for ʙικιɴιs as she soaks up the sun at a Mediterranean resort after sensationally pulling out of a highly-anticipated influencer boxing match.
“Hope everyone has a lush day,” she wrote on her Instagram, posing by the pool at her resort in Ayia Napa on the island of Cyprus.
“I think I’ve died and gone to heaven,” she wrote earlier, revealing that it was already 28 degrees before 10am local time.
Barely 24 hours previously, she was still in the boxing gym back home, still training despite sensationally pulling out of her grudge fight with rival Elle Brooke.
The two adult stars were due to settle their online beef with a boxing fight at the Indigo in London’s O2 Arena on July 16.
However, following a bizarre press conference which saw the pair come to blows, as well as Elle bring out a coffin containing a blow-up doll with Astrid’s face on, Astrid said she wouldn’t be fighting.
She cited the event’s poor organisation, Elle’s threats to “kill” her and the press conference carnage among other things.
She went on to dub the KingPyn Boxing Event a “freakshow”.
On June 15, Astrid uploaded a video to TikTok showing her still doing pad work. She also teased that a new fight may be in the works.
In a voiceover on the clip she said: “Hi guys, just a quick boxing update. I’m still training and working hard every single day.
“I know my comments are going to be littered with ‘you bottled it’, etcetera, but I’m expecting it.
“But most of you agree with the points I made which I’m happy with. If you haven’t already yet please go to YouTube and watch the full explanation.
“So I’m working on an even bigger and better fight date right now, and I think you guys are going to be so excited with what’s coming up.
“Watch this space.”
Responding to the news that Astrid was pulling out, Elle revealed that she’s still keen to fight on July 16 and is searching for a new opponent.
She said on Twitter: “Well it looks like I need a new opponent if anyone fancies it…
“Regardless of your opinion on influencer boxing events, I have been training in a professional camp alongside professional fighters, respecting the work that goes into being a boxer. This is a journey from zero to hero.
“It’s also worth noting that the vast majority of things that are said and done, are publicity stunts designed to create hype and interest. Astrid wanted to be the innocent underdog so I had to be the unhinged one. The fight wasn’t going to sell itself lol.”
